Uploading Files
Expiry options
Every upload needs an expiry — this is the core of how YSOP works. Choose from:
- 24 hours
- 3 days
- 7 days
- 10 days
Once a file's expiry passes, it's deleted automatically — both the file itself and its listing in your dashboard. There's no way to recover it after that, so double-check the expiry before you upload something you need to keep around.
If you're on Pro, you can also mark a file as permanent instead of picking an expiry — it stays up until you delete it yourself.
Multiple files & progress
You can select or drop several files at once. Each one uploads and shows its own progress bar, so a slow upload doesn't block the rest.
What you get back
After a successful upload you get two links:
- Source link — points directly at the file in storage. Good for embedding in a webpage, a
<img>tag, or any place that needs a direct file URL. - Share link — a hosted page showing the filename, size, and a download button. Better for sending to someone who just wants to view and download the file.
Managing uploads
Everything you upload shows up in your dashboard, where you can rename files, move them between folders, copy either link again, or delete them early.
